When it comes to mechanization, most people think of big tractors and equipment that are usually expensive or not a wise business decision for small and medium-scale farmers.
They are other smaller machinery that is designed for small farmers or models that can help them maximize mechanization
The goal of the online Discussion is to hear the opinion of thought leaders in the food and Agriculture space like you about such technology and model and how we can maximize that to boost food production Post COVID
How is it run?
The Discussion is divided into three parts of – Presentation, Discussion and Exhibition. We will be having a presentation from two experts in agricultural mechanization on Google hangout and Discussion with over 20 thought-leaders in food and agriculture space in Africa followed by an exhibition. The Discussion and the exhibition will take place in a Facebook group.
Who can be part of it
The meet up is for everyone along food and agriculture value chains in Africa. This includes food processors, crop producers, livestock farmers, support services, government agencies and many more.
How can I be part of it?
The meet up is entirely free. All you need to do is to register online, follow the instructions sent to your email and wait to join the Discussion on 29 – 30 May 2020.

Meet the Speaker
Suleiman Usman Mohammed is responsible for building and operating processes to streamline and strengthen communication with customers as well as working together with the Sales and Marketing department to ensure the appropriate onboarding of new customers. Suleiman was a trainee at Songhai center where he gained experience as an agricultural entrepreneur. He has a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria.
